Sun Metro's traditional fixed route buses have lifts and ramps to accommodate persons who use mobility devices. However, individuals with disabilities who are not able to use the fixed route service, may be eligible to use the LIFT.

The LIFT (Living Independently Facilitated by Transportation) is Sun Metro's ADA Paratransit service, providing origin to destination, on demand transportation within the city of El Paso.

The LIFT also coordinates transportation with private operators to extend the hours and areas of service on a limited basis.

Persons wanting to use the LIFT need to fill out an application and be certified for eligibility.

Dial-A-Ride is a complementary paratransit service offered by the City of Las Cruces. Dial-A-Ride provides curb to curb, on demand transportation services to senior citizens age 60 and older, and qualified individuals with disabilities as defined by the Americans with Disabilities Act.

E-Z RIDER provides ADA Complimentary Paratransit Service. This is curb to curb service for persons with disabilities who cannot use the regular Fixed Route Service. Individuals who wish to be considered for this service will need to complete an application and be verified by a medical provider to be certified eligible for paratransit services.

Big Bend Community Action Committee, Inc. (BBCAC), Trax Transportation is available for Public and Medical transportation services, for individuals from birth to the elderly, and disabled. This includes the general public, seniors, veterans, and medical transportation recipients. This service includes destinations into Odessa, Midland, El Paso, and surrounding areas.

Public Transportation: hours of operation are 8:00 AM-5:00 PM (Central Time), Monday-Friday; except on Holidays-no service available.This service can be used for various reasons: shopping, work place, visiting friends and family, airports, and/or medical appointments. To ensure your reservation we recommend calling 24 to 48 hours prior.
