Laughlin Air Force Base located in Del Rio, Texas is the largest pilot training base in the USAF, is home to the 47th Flying Training Wing of the Air Education and Training Command (AETC).

Ft. Bliss Army Air Force Base
Ft. Bliss/El Paso, TX
Fort Bliss is a United States Army post in the U.S. states of New Mexico and Texas, with its headquarters located in El Paso, Texas and is the Army's second-largest installation. Fort Bliss is home to the 1st Armored Division, which returned to the United States after 40 years in Germany. The installation is also home to the 32nd Army Air & Missile Defense Command, the 11th Air Defense Artillery Brigade, the 212th Fires Brigade, and the 402nd Field Artillery Brigade.

Biggs Field
El Paso, TX
Biggs Field is designated a military power projection platform and is now the home of the United States Army 1st Armored Division. In October 2011, the Airfield became home of the Combat Aviation Brigade, 1st Armored Division. Biggs Field is also the headquarters for the El Paso Intelligence Center, a federal tactical operational intelligence center, and its DoD counterpart, Joint Task Force North.

White Sands Missile Range (WSMR) is a United States Army rocket range of almost 3,200 sq. mi in parts of five counties in southern New Mexico. The largest military installation in the United States, White Sands Missile Range and the McGregor Range Complex at Fort Bliss to the south are contiguous areas for military testing.

Holloman Air Force Base
Holloman Air Force Base is a United States Air Force base located in New Mexico’s Tularosa Basin between the Sacramento and the San Andres mountain ranges. The base was named in honor of Col. George V. Holloman, a pioneer in guided missile research. It is the home of the 49th Wing of the Air Combat Command.
